EDUCATIONAL THOUGHTS
Better Life with Music
(Photo) “Better Life with Music” is not a casual saying at Roland, it embodies our core belief!  Inside this issue you will find new ideas, instruments and programs that help everyone further their enjoyment of music-making.

“Inspiring” is the word that describes Greg Genter of The Piano Xpress in Ashburn, VA.  Greg’s creativity and enthusiasm for teaching students in new and enjoyable ways defines his success.  An advocate for group instruction, you’ll discover how Roland pianos help him accomplish student goals and increase student retention.  From his early beginnings with summer camps to the establishment of a successful year-round teaching studio, you will find inspiration in Greg’s unique teaching style and methods.

And speaking of summer camps…Serena Mackey shares a number of ideas for incorporating summer camps with your students. In “Summer Sounds Good,” she discusses a number of ideas to infuse new spirit in your studio, while keeping your students ‘musically active.’  With a wide variety of topics and solutions, you’re certain to find one that will inspire you!

We’ve also been busy supporting programs and helping people make music.  Whether it’s creating a hands-on wonderland with our Roland LIVE exhibit at the GRAMMY Museum, or sponsoring the national tour of Russian-born Pianist Yana Reznik as she performs on the Roland V-Piano® Grand, or creating a whole new playing experience with the revolutionary Roland V-Guitar, we remain as committed as ever to helping people experience “Better Life with Music”.  We hope these ideas, concepts and solutions inspire you, too!

Enjoy,
